Inquest

Xavier Research Projects Committee is proud to announce the publication of its first volume of Research Project Book ‘‘Inquest”. This book is a compilation of outstanding research projects submitted by undergraduate students who were involved in faculty-mentored research projects and creative activities. This multidisciplinary research project book is an attempt to reveal the types of research activities of the academic session 2018-19 conducted by students. The aim is to enhance the skill set of students and improve their problem solving, critical thinking, and team work skills. This book will certainly make a meaningful contribution to the student affairs knowledge base and motivate them for research-oriented activities in future. The book recognizes the efforts of the students and showcases their innovation and resourcefulness.

Yet, this is just the beginning and there are miles to be covered in the coming sessions as we move forward, with new hopes and new ambitions.

Research Projects Committee (RPC) is constituted with the aim to inculcate an interest in independent research among students and to promote research capacity of those students who are keen to engage themselves in research work. It provides a platform for the students to understand published works determine an area of interest and jump start their career as researchers. The research Project committee is responsible for:

a. Conducting Multidisciplinary Projects (Students from all departments and Research project committee) following NAAC guidelines covering areas focusing on Gender Sensitization, environment protection, social responsibility, Cultural heritage of Rajasthan

b. Managing Interdisciplinary projects presentations and publications (Student and Faculty Centralized activity)

c. Conducting Student research-oriented Presentations/workshop/seminar

d. Managing Faculty Oriented external projects from other funding agencies.
